Anniversary card

It is my boyfriend's aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary, and I wanted to make an elegant card to send to them in Vancouver.

I have not yet touched the Sahara Sand cs so I thought I'd give it a shot. It is hard to see in the picture, but I used the En Francais background stamp in versamark on the Sahara Sand card and on the Very Vanilla, but it is so faint, you can't see it.

Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla
Ink: Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Versamark
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes ("Happy Anniversary" inside), Baroque Motifs, En Francais background
Punches: Modern Label, Boho Blossoms
Other: Beachfront Ribbon Originals in Sahara Sand (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals, sponge dauber
Note: Brown half-back pearl is not SU!

Halloween decor

Well, it's October 9th and we had our first snowfall today. It looked quite pretty through my office window this afternoon, but was horribly cold walking to my car after work. I hope it is short-lived and stays away until after Halloween.

Speaking of Halloween, this weekend I intend to bust out the decorations. So in that spirit, I made a "decoration" to take to work. I just have to frame it. UPDATE: I framed it on Monday. The first picture below is with it framed. I sort of case'd it from the October Stampin' Success magazine that SU demos get monthly.

It is an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Elegant Eggplant cardstock with six 2 1/2" squares individually decorated on it.

Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Only Orange, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black, Many Marvelous Markers in Only Orange, Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive
Stamps: Eat, Drink & Be Scary, Holiday Best hostess set, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Baroque Motifs
Punches: Scallop Border, Eyelet Border, Modern Label, Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle, 1 1/2" circle cutter
Other: Chills & Thrills rub ons (retired), Walk in the Park DSP (retired), Urban Oasis DSP (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals, sponge dauber
Note: Ribbons, black textured paper (top right) and witch die cut are not SU
